jpsned Pillar of the Community United States 2208 Posts	Posted 09/27/2014 9:47 pm Reminds me when, about 25 years ago, I saw a coin ad for "the soon-to-be discontinued Roosevelt dimes." I hadn't heard anything about the design being discontinued, so I called the company. I asked the guy about it, and he admitted that the design was not going to be discontinued. But then he added, "Let me tell you something, my friend. It's been minted for so long that chances are good it will be discontinued pretty soon." Anytime a stranger calls you "my friend," you know he's up to no good. Report this Post to the Staff

The term victim can be used for people who are raped, or beaten or murdered but it is a little overboard to call someone too dumb to research how they spend their money a victim.
