First, Thank you to everyone that aided me and offered some suggestions. I will have photos when all is done. I created a shadow box out of the gold display case, with black sides, with holes cut out for the led lights, then the base color is a velvet red, not too dark. All of the material is acid free, preservation museum material. I will snap some photos when it is done in a couple of weeks. Thanks again!

Very excited to see it! Me and my dad are currently working on building a coin cabinet out of Mahogany, but I'm very busy with work and school, so unfortunately progress is slow, hopefully seeing yours will help motivate me to grind out some extra hours on it.
