I picked up a 1881 U.S Gold Coin, I'm hoping I didn't get burned on it.

It seems legit, and weighs 8.4g on my scale.

Does anyone know what it may be worth if it's real?

Pics are a tad small to be sure, but I see nothing that panics me. Weight's a little heavy; should be 8.24 but that might be your scale. It's a common issue, the highest mintage of the With Motto type, and I'm guessing it to be AU-ish. Value probably approaches $400; it's about a $450 coin in an AU55 slab.

Looks legit to me. Actual weight should be around 8.35 grams, so yours is very close.
