I was getting ready to list this on ebay and noticed the date looks like it's doubled also there is a chunk coming off the 1? So I thought I would see if any one knows if this is a common thing for this date? Thanks in advance for your help. Ken

I think the "chunk" is a gouge that plowed up a piece of the coin. I see the doubling, but don't know enough about the subject to confirm.

The chunk is PMD, and the doubling looks like MD.

That would do very well on ebay with the uninformed crowd.
