Santa mailed 2 packages yesterday (mailed 2 this year for my enormous screw up last year, apologies to all), 1 to Canada and 1 to Russia, I sure hope the Russian one goes through, the address was kinda confusing but I think I got it with the help of the postman. Merry Christmas Everyone! Hope the holidays bring great happiness to you and your families! Bill

Arael posted Quote: Waiting to send something to mine in the hopes they will post in the what our members collect page This might not happen. Any gift is a "good gift." The idea of, "Secret Santa", should not make new or old members feel intimidated on what to give Santa Rggoodie who started this, has made it clear in the rules. Sooo send what you can and from the spirit of a, "Holiday" exchange.

I'm looking through their post history and trying to get a good idea of what they might like, and I have some ideas, decided to wait 2-3 more days and if they don't post then just to send it out :)

Keep in mind...it is the thought and fact you are giving to a person you may never meet. What you give may not be something a recipient had thought about in regards to collecting...
Happy holidays everyone... and again a big thank you to rggoodie for coordinating this.

I think the surprise and randomness are the best parts. Not to mention if you got them something off their list of "what I collect", you have a really good chance of getting them a duplicate coin. They probably already have lots of coins in those listed types. Not that anyone would mind a duplicate coin, either!
Basically we all collect and nobody is going to hate getting free coins in the mail of any kind!

Quote: You must have great karma, wornslick! Those are EXCELLENT coins you got there!! Thanks, I really like them also. I replaced the 2X2's last night as I damaged them removing them from the envelope and placed them in my book along with my other Canadian coins. Also after reading about them I learned they are a little over 90% Silver.
