Well, thanks for everyone's input. I'm fairly certain I'll be bidding on this coin. Hopefully I'll be successful. I'll post here after the auction Thursday night.

By the way, if anyone's interested, the TrueView images for the 4 coins I had sent in have posted and are now showing up on my public set page

The added ones are 1859, 1864, 1881 and 1888

That 1890 is incredible. I am not one for toning, but that one look really nice. Now you have me out there looking. Don't worry, I probably won't bid on the one you are after. I may have to bid if the 1890 ever comes up:)

@ tpg22

Thank you. I won the 1890 dime at a Legend Auction in July this year. They liked the coin so much they're now using it on their banner (sorry I know I posted this before, shameless plug for them). I don't think I'll be putting it up for sale at any point, but who knows.

Well good luck tonight Mr. Tbone~!! I actually have 3 of your ebay coins in my watch list I may shoot you an offer for later. I can't decide if I want those 3, or a small new (and first) piece of gold for that back page as my next purchase. They are not the expensive ones so I won't be adding much to your piggy bank but I do like them and they would fit with the ones I already have. 10/86

And my other dilemma is there is a coin show in Jacksonville on the 14th / 15th and Jax only has 2 shows a year + a small show once a year in St. Augustine. I just need a bigger coin shopping budget~!! So many coins, so little $'s

Thanks Tbone. I'm very tempted on picking up your three as my next ones. After all, gold is going to continue to fall...right? So I might as well wait a while to buy my first gold piece....right?
