Kyra, that's pretty neat! [:p] I haven't found a buff nickel in quite a while. I LOVE Calvin & Hobbes comics. Always makes me laugh. I have a bunch of those books. Love Em!!

2000 D Sacky.
Certainly no big deal except for two things.
One, absolutely BU, without a mark on it.
Secondly, as mentioned previously, maybe they are starting to circulate, at least a little.
I put the others I received back in circulation, but will probably keep this one because of its condition.

The Ruble came in as a nickel. I replaced it with a nickel and pocketed the Ruble. Yeah me. I just wanted it!

I searched $27 of pennies this morning and pulled out all the pre-1982 cents. Do I keep the 1982's too, I forget? I found two dimes, two wheat cents and a Candian penny that was new to me. But, these were all my own mistakes as I had rolled this change a few years ago. I get alot of change from a soda machine that I keep right outside my warehouse. Is there anything that I could look for in the dimes, nickels, and quarters? I've collected louds of State Quarters and have tried to put together the shinniest set that I can. The nickels are harder to come by than dimes and quarters. I've never happened upon any silver coins, that I know of, Ironically, I might have the only machine in the US that spits silver out as trash.

Hi ichirensha 82 was a year of change for the Lincoln Cent, with both copper and copper plated zinc cents being minted, as well as lg and small date varieties of each,, so some of the 82's are copper and weight considerably more than the plated zinc cents. 82 is a short set collection all its own with the seven different cents for the year. How many of you are still able to get rolls of coinage (to look through) at your local bank? One person at my bank told me they were going to start charging for this service? The banks want to see us in a cashless society- So what else is new? Some commentator on TV today says it is inevitable that we have a cashless society- Well, it is true- too many have the plastic mentality- But I can't see us without coinage. What is the consesus of this forum? Dewey

My bank will still let me get rolls of coins free of charge. I've even established some good contacts with the tellers, so they're always happy to order even bags of halves for me free of charge.
