Today I received a 2010P hot springs quarter.
It filled the longest hole, based on time released and finding it, in my folder since it was the first one released.

I picked up some lunch today and received three quarters and four cents in change. When I got home and checked I saw that all four cents were Wheat Cents. What are the chances? 1957-D, 1952-D, 1944-P and 1942-D

That's a fun find, GLB! Getting just one wheatie in change is a score - 4/4 is fantastic!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Thank you, Hondo and Errers. I can't remember the last time I had one in change but to get four at once is almost unbelievable. I have to assume that the cashier had recently dumped a roll of Wheat Cents into the register.

Thank you, jbuck. I still can't figure out how this happened. Small businesses usually get their rolled coins from the bank. These four had to have come from a roll that had recently been dumped into the register. How else could I have received all four at once.

Could they have taken them in from an exact change purchase not long before you?
