I have bought and sold the later types and they did ok but not much in the way of value though I understand this is earlier and rarer. Any info appreciated on this example.

It's the type from 1824-1830, in my catalogue C#13a and named as 'Bunsei-Shin-Nanryo'.
Btw, your second picture is upside down.

Picture corrected and was listed as 1824-1830.....any ideas on grade and value?
