Got a Boreal Forest Toonie in change today, don't see too many of those, I have found 4 WFMD Toonies so far in circ, have one 5 Pack, lots in circulation down here in NS it seems. Wanted a coffee the other day and looked at my Toonie it was a WFMD, put it away, pulled another Toonie, Nunavut, paid with debit. I know they made millions, but I can't spend a commemorative coin.

Out in Alberta I seldom see any commem toonies and I occasionally grab rolls from the bank. I've got 1 Nunavut Toonie. I get lots of 1996 toonies and the newer ones, but the special ones for get it.

Just this summer I got around 6 really clean Boreal Forest toonies from a Tim Hortons but over several visits. I have a dozen or so HMS Shannon toonies but haven't seen any recently. I also get a lot of beat up 1996 but have never gotten an error variety like the horn or cigar or no ice, but I keep looking.

Man I'm going have to start visiting Tims, but it's way across town on the highway. I never find any interesting toonies!! I've never came across the Montreal either. I don't even own one, I may have a Sask loonie. Time to ramp up the Toonie roll searches. It seems not many commem loons or toons make it to Alberta. I've only got one Shannon in change.

I dont have a Montreal or Sask. Toonie. One thing I do is when I'm out shopping say at the mall, I never give change out of my pocket till I get home to check it, I keep pulling bills out to max the coin I get to look at. I sometimes come home with a whole lotta pocket change. Sometimes these are pretty beat up though. Once a month I take about 300$ in change back to the bank and pay bills with it.

That's a pretty fresh looking $2 there @denny7000. Got this 10th Anniversary 2006 Toonie in change. Too bad about the hack. Well circulated.

Yes I was lucky to get several in this condition from a Timmies in a nearby mall this summer so maybe fresh cracked rolls that were left over and not circulated right away. It was multiple visits too as I like my Timmies. I've got a few of those 2006 toonies too but not in very good shape.

I really like proof and specimen singles when I can find or purchase them at a good price. That 2012 toonie is nice. I havent taken to many pictures of my stuff yet, most is heavily circulated and in rough shape. I did this summer buy at face a roll of the Terry fox, BU but no grass varieties and a roll of 1987 loonies in mint wrap also at face. I also bought two specimen sets of 2002 coinage because I like the Familly of Loons coins. Ill soon get some more pics taken when I have more time.

Sorry my camera is my phone and I'm new at coin pictures. With a mag.glass I believe it is what you call Struck Through Grease. It was given to me by an RBC teller just because it was olympic, but I saw the missing letters. Cost me a dollar.
