Hi!

I happen to be the owner of this coin, but I have no clue as to what its value could be. I'm hoping that you could give me a helping hand in understanding what I have in front of me, and what it is worth.

I know it is 24K gold, so I'm thinking of melting it down to reduce the cost of me and my fianceés wedding rings.

Hi,

its a 2000 year of the dragon gold coin. it looks like 1/20 to 1/10 gold.

If you sell it to a collector you can fetch a nice premium say $20-70 dollars more than the value of gold. The coin is nice and quite desirable. Shouldn't be hard to find a buyer at all.

would be a shame to melt that coin down!
