I really like that 5oz eagle at silver town but this:
"***Any extra charges incurred by SilverTowne for shipments to countries outside of the United States are the responsibility of the receiving party. (Customer's are responsible for all 'taxes and duties' incurred upon shipment by government regulations, ie Canada.)
Scares me. Plus its $279 us funds, guess I will pass.

Congratulations to both Northern Coins and Pocket Change for reaching 1,000 posts! I only need 163 to make it there myself. By the way, what's the prize for reaching this milestone?

Hi Numoose and thank you for the acknowledgement. It's a cool accomplishment when you think you'll never reach the 250 mark to buy sell with other members, which I've only done twice. I never knew I had so much to share. I originally figured I'd just be a reader. It's why it took me a year to sign up. I would strongly suggest any lurkers to sign up, the benefits are amazing! I'm not talking about selling coins. This doesn't happen until you're a well established member and we know you. I was very shy and unsure at the start. Now I'm a regular blabber mouth!! Again thanks for the praise Numoosey. I know you'll get there soon too!! There's something cool about a thousand posts, only wish it was dollars!! Prize Numoosey, why of course it's a new and improved moose hat Hey you ever see the Moose on the kids TV show in the late sixty's popcorn playhouse. Your icon always reminds me of that talking moose head I just don't recall the name. It was on CFRN in Alberta.

Thanks Pocket! And yes, Ying, those were the days I ran home from elementary school to try and catch the show... But where are Boris and Natasha now? Eh, Mr. Putin?

I still love the show. I've got an aunt who calls me Rocky after the squirrel, as my name is Roxanne. Fifty two yrs later the nickname still sticks in some circles. I watch the show on teletoon retro, with my son. Yes those were the days. I hope my kid has fond memories when he's older.

Numoosey, I found it, the moose on popcorn playhouse was named Muskeg. Google CTV morning news Edmonton return of popcorn playhouse. You'll love Muskeg he was my favorite feature!! The news piece said over 140,000 kids went through the set of the show. Check Muskeg the moose out , he even had his own mailbag of letters.
Numoosey, in my muskeg the moose search I found an excellent blog which characterizes Muskeg's influence and history beautifully, look up The return of a much loved city landmark - CFRN Totem Pole, mid way down the article is devoted to muskeg and his disappearance. It's by David staples.
Poor old Muskeg was used for target practice by staff. Then the host Eric Neville would attend to his wounds with chocolate icing from birthday cakes. Muskeg would answer riddles. I nearly choked laughing at the off color riddle regarding a red fire truck. I can just imagine some 10 yr old asking it. The show was live, so not edited for TV.
My iPhone browser doesn't show me the complete address, otherwise I'd try posting a link. It's a fun little piece of nostalgia.

Quote: Reminder still 50% off! 2009 Lunar Ox: Stamp and Coin Set
NOW 50% off! Price: $112.88 NOW $56.44 PLUS FREE SHIPPING The sale is good. But looks like, collectors who were interested in this series, already have it, and new collectors prefer the new series. As I paid attention now, this series interesting, since even for all 2000-x years these coins have on obverse the previous depiction of the Queen. Not the modern one. As I understand, was decided to keep series constant. Nice fact.
