Emveecoins,

100oz RCM Bullion Silver bar is under bullion category.

Price adjusts simutaneously with spot price but influenced by CAD-USD exchange rate.

Most of the time, VBCE has better price ( around CAD$30-CAD$40 lower ) compared to Colonial Acres
But VBCE is cash price and Colonial Acres is credit card price
( sometime, dealer charges extra 3% if customers want to use credit card instead of cash )

Once in a while ( often happened between 2am-5am Pacific Time ), CA had matched or better price than VBCE's during silver spot spike.

It is fun to browse Colonial Acres Website on daily base.

p.s. Yesterday's Colonial Acres Unique Sale, I did noticed that it started not at 2pm ET but around 1:45-1:50 pm ET. 15 minutes early.

@justsilver

I'm aware of what you said, but I expect the premium above spot to be the same. Previously you said CA's price was the same as VBCE's, but when I looked, that was not the case, CA's was $40-50 more. When I saw your post I expected same price at CA compared to VBCE's cash price, which would mean CA's price is actually 2% less with my cash back card.

Emveecoins,

Understood what you said.

If you are interested to use credit card to purchase 100oz RCM Silver Bar from Colonial Acres but wish CA's price matching VBCE's price. Just compare asking prices often between VBCE & CA.

Both asking prices fluctuate every mintue when market is open. Difference in prices might range between $0 to $45 per silver bar.

So far, I bought twice from Colonial Acres on 100oz RCM Silver Bar when sold prices were same as VBCE.
( I meant Colonial Acres' sold prices by credit card were same as VBCE's cash prices )

It happend seldomly but it happened. Just need patience.

@justsilver
So you're suggesting CA's price doesn't track spot + premium then? Perhaps they change the prices manually or they dont' update the spot price very often?

@emveecoins,

CA's price on 100 oz Silver Bar move simultaneously with silver spot but not as often as VBCE.

Suggesting to check both VBCE's & CA's prices often during sudden increase on silver spot price.

Difference in prices ( normally $30-$40 in difference ) will be decrease during silver spot spike.

Once in a while, both prices matched. ( happened more than twice in past 2 months )

They only have one in stock lol , don't think that means the end. The Star Trek "sky" isn't falling , just correcting itself a little bit.

Good observation, Northerncoins.
I preferred not no mention it

No, not fall, they will do ok more or less. But reduced interest (demand).

Check the Talisman for new Star Trek coins:
same lame Transporter, same style painted coins (but I like the Enterprise, cause I like the space crafts).
I think that the collectors, who collect the hot coins only, will quit to buy every coin (only selected) of this series.

Following an ultimative "hit", the next interstellar hit is here:

(for the prices that they offered it really a sale)

Minted by RCM, enchanced by reputable manufacturer, and brought to us by "The Coin Shoppe":

2014 1 oz Fine Silver Coin - American "Flaming Silver Eagle" Ruthenium Finish

Specifications:
Special Features: Black Ruthenium and 24k Gold
Mintage: 1000
COA - yes
Package (In Scope): Luxury Box

Priced as CAD 179.95 only (for this price people will buy all limit)

http://www.thecoinshoppe.ca/2014-1-...nium-finish/

Some collectors will say that 1000 mintage is to much.
Take a look at this:

200 mintage worldwide!

Double (!) Reverse (!) 24kt gild

2014 1 oz Fine Silver Coin - Canadian Silver Maple Leaf - Double Reverse Gilded - 24K Gold

CAD 59.95 only.

I think that's the new fad with coins at the moment. Take the bullion or semi numismatic coin and colour it up and such....

Not sure how new it is. It's been happening for many years though they are getting better at it.

But how long is it before some guy in his basement decides to colour a high mintage collector coin? Say put a little white and pink tint on the new 20/4/20 Bugs coin add a box and COA and then sell it for $100.

Are collectors ok with that? Would the Mint be ok with that?

I appreciate these are non circulating BUT legal tender- which in turn makes it illegal to modify in any way...
How is RCM approving these modifications?
And if they are - can we assume they are receiving some kick back allowing some 3rd party to modify for resell?
