Seems a hard drive on the server went bust. The hardware is being replaced, but the data restore may take some time. I will update when I have the info on ETA.

Not sure if this is possible, but can you set the stamp forum link to redirect to this page for the duration of the server outage? May help with any confusion.

Yeah... I could change the DNS but that's a pain and it can take hours to propagate down to everyone, then the same thing when it's switched back.

I do appreciate the suggestion though.
