Hi all,

Bought this 1829 Half Dime (?) for melt.. Didn't know what it was until I got it back and searched, but please confirm it is Half Dime..
Its in pretty poor condition.. Any value as is? Worth trying to restore?
Its a cute little thing...

I think you are correct. Compare the size to a regular dime to know for sure. it's pretty beat up, so the value would be minimal.

Looks like a Half Dime. Certainly has some major problems but I wouldn't try to 'improve' it since cleaning it would likely only further magnify its issues. Well bought at melt. Probabily worth $5 in this condition in my opinion, although on ebay it could likely go for more if bidders looking for an inexpensive example got into a bidding war.
