This coin was part of a lot on ebay I purchased. It is a 1924-B German 50 Rechenpfennig. The problem is, there is no such thing as a "Rechenpfennig", only Rentenpfennigs and Reichspfennigs. Also, there were no coins from Vienna ("B" Mint) minted for the 50 Reichs/Rentenpfennigs. I am truly puzzled.

Lastly, it seems to be like German play-money as it feels like it was made out of foam. Thank you for reading and for your thoughts!

Spielgeld translates literally to 'play money' I believe

Thanks for the information! I think this coin is interesting, even though it is play money!

Just an additional note.
While the 'token' mimicks the 50 Pfennig coinage of the mid 1920s, some of those where sold with games after WWII, so it was not necessarily manufactured around 1924.

Post WW1 Germany is absolutely fascinating, especially from a numismatic standpoint... Medieval that's very interesting I did not know that... What types of games would something like that be found in? Perhaps a German version of Monopoly :)
