What did you think of the grade, Joe? Looks a bit low to me, but I can only go by the pics.

I was late to the party on this one, but XF-40 would have been my guess.

Looks to be a bit under-graded in my opinion. Personally I put it at VF-35. The obverse is a bit dark but the reverse is really nice in my opinion.

I was in the 25-30 camp with it. The coin shows every indication of a really nice strike - even this worn, the talons are still showing detail and the obverse shield and fingers are sharp. So I'm being kind of hard on it, not factoring strike at all in my interpretation of what's wear.

Total keeper either way. Nice honest coin.
