GREAT buy!! So the Mercury dime seller elected to not send what you purchased?

Wow--quite the deal! And as AG IHCs go...it's not a bad one.

Yes, it will be one of my best dates in my Whitman book along with 1866 with a lamination peel and 1869. That is if they ship it.

I think it's a pretty solid AG. Nice bold date, good color, with just a few small dings on the obverse.

I hope I'm wrong, but I just clicked on the ebay link which listed the item as sold. Then I went to the "other items listed" by the seller and your coin is listed for $0.99 with 6 days remaining. good luck...

Yes, saw that too, the other coins were starting at 99 cents. Looks like they are shipping it, they created the shipping label today. I always honor sales when they sell for too cheap for some reason but I am really careful with stuff like that since I always honor all sales. The seller does have nice coins for sale.

Quote:So the Mercury dime seller elected to not send what you purchased? I think the seller said he shipped and didn't then refunded the money rather than not shipping it and getting the negative feedback. That was an auction though where he should honor it since that is what they went for.

The current coin for sale is different than your coin. Looks like seller has more than one.

It's rare for a seller not to honor a low selling price. It happens on rare occasions, and you can leave appropriate feedback,if so.

Yes, I honor all sales especially if I started the bidding at 99 cents or I listed a price too cheap out of lack of knowledge or something. I figure since I have purchased coins way under their value and the seller sent them, I should do the same. I'll admit I don't like doing it but do it anyway.

I received the coin yesterday, currently in my Whitman Book. I know some get annoyed if I flipped it like I have before with mistaken listings that were shipped anyhow lol. My coin now do what I want with it but this one I want since I don't have it and I collect Indian Heads. Anyhow, I recommend this seller.
