Do You See Any Braids On Braided Hair Large Cents?

Celticsoul Pillar of the Community United States 1566 Posts	Posted 12/24/2014 9:07 pm They were originally called "braided hair" cents by the press to distinguish between the 4 major 1839 varieties, the "coronet head", the "silly head" as it was dubbed, the "booby" head and the "braided hair". If anything, it's more prominent now that celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Adele, Natalie Portman, Emma Watson, Kristen Stewart & Beyonce have sported variations of the famous "do" portrayed on the braided cent.
