Learned that from coop and john1. A follow-up question concerning the bar in side the lower loop of the mint mark. Looks similar to the one on a different die listed on coppercoins (see link). http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/dies...ie_state=mds Is it potential RPM, part of the MD or just a damaged punch they used that year? coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/25/2014 10:05 am The mark inside the the lower serif area is from a damaged punch. These are present on some years till they replace the punch with a new one. The 002 on the two shows that also, but it is not part of the RPM. The RPM is West of the mint mark.
