1877 Indian Head/Buffalo Medallion Origin

Eddupont New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 11/24/2015 10:03 pm I found this exact medallion 45 years ago in NJ while I was five years old digging while standing at a bus stop with my mother. I held onto it all these years. Do you know exactly what it is? Where it comes from and what it may be worth? I would love to know where it comes from. Report this Post to the Staff

zschmitt99 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 05/01/2016 12:59 pm I too have one of these coins. When my grandfather passed away I inherited some of his coins, this was one of them. I noticed some of them have the top piece that is used for a key chain but mine does not. Also, there is a lot of patina on mine-looks very old. I'll post a pic when I can.
