Kamnaskires Pillar of the Community United States 7066 Posts	Posted 01/01/2015 2:28 pm For what it's worth, I just did a very quick look through the Fake Coin Reports at Forum, and over at the ForgeryNetwork.com, looking at fakes of the type (Antony/Julius Caesar denarius), and I don't think I spotted an exact match to yours. echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 01/01/2015 3:03 pm I was thinking one might be a fouree but I don't see any base metal showing. I wasn't able to find a match in the fake reports either, So I'm think the coin just might be genuine. Report this Post to the Staff

josephrg Valued Member United States 234 Posts	Posted 01/01/2015 3:30 pm I submitted the first coin to ngc and it was authenticated. The second coin I no longer own I sold it stating I could not verify its authenticity.The reason I did this was I saw a coin that looked identical to mine being sold by Harlen J Berk.This was about 5 years ago.I did contact him and send a photo of my coin.He stated his coin was authentic but didn't explain the 2 identical coins.
