I need this date for my collection, but just not sure of condition with these tiny scans.

With that quality of pictures I wouldn't bid on it. I would look for one somewhere else with better photos so I could make a better judgment on the purchase.

I'm having a hard time with the toning on the coin, not sure if it is ok or some sort of damage.
Rest in Peace

It's a shame about the pics.

I was able to enlarge the entire ebay page to 200% and still use the built-in enlarger. By doing that I saw that there seems to be something going on with the I in United on the reverse. The darkness just seems to be normal circulation dirt -- to me. But I couldn't see a mint mark.

Like I said, it's a shame about the pics.

Yeah, I see what you are talking about with the I in United. I can see the mintmark, I think. Am trying to massage a photo out the seller, but haven't heard back. Just too risky at this point.
Rest in Peace

I agree. I think it was a bit expensive considering it had a lot of black on it.

I'm sure you can find one you like soon enough.

Watching an online auction right now, just saw a PCGS XF40 go about 10 min ago for $120 if that helps you out on pricing

Ended without bids. Wonder if he has an idea why.
