it looks more like an 1898 to me, not a '93

If you haven't already, I suggest that you give them the ring test to make sure you don't have cast fakes.

If everything checks out you did great. Even with one fake you did good! Of course if you did get a fake I'd go back to the shop.

It is a 98 not 93. I am at work so can't do any tests on them now but did tap edges together last night and sounded like silver will check into them more tonight.

I checked magnatisim and none of them are magnetic. So I'm doubting they r steel. I'm thinking they are heavly toned and then dipped and not done well and its coming off maybe? Here is a closer pic. Can only take cell phone pics so not the greatest.
