Hello, I bought this coin raw for about $8. I noticed that it has doubled letters (R,T,Y in LIBERTY), the date on the obverse and the neck of Ike is also doubled. On the reverse this is a strange mark that looks like something was caught in the die.

Just wondering if this is common, hopefully my pics come out clearly enough to see.

Thank You

The problem is that it is machine damaged and not a doubled die. Flat shelf like, reducing the devices. MD not hub doubled. Sorry

Not a proof. It is the silver uncirculated version, aka "blue Ike", so-named because of the original packaging. Silver Proofs are also known as "brown Ikes" due to their original brown box.
