I get plenty of 2014 cents in the East but I don't think I have seen a 2014-D yet. And for as plentiful as the 'P' cents are in this area, I have asked at stores and banks and no one ever has solid rolls of new cents. How are they getting into circulation? Or am I asking in the wrong places?

I had several 2014 Philadelphia cents in change in a Burger King in Orlando, FL, back in October when I was on vacation. No D's though.

I have way too many 2014's, though I don't have any 2014 D's probably because I live on the east coast, in fact, I didn't get a 2013 D until about a month ago.

I must begetting lucky because I have quite a few of each one and they seem to be abundant.. at least for me here in ky. I have noticed the 14 p 's. Seem to have a crack going from rim to head. I have foundtwo so far although I haven't hardly searched the newer cents

Here in western Massachusetts, I've found tons of 2014-P pennies. Still waiting for my first D.
Come to think of it, I'm waiting for my first 13-D as well.

Quote: It's rather interesting how these coins make their ways through circulation. I recently saw a poster here who wondered whether or not to save the box of solid 2014s from the bank. With billions and billions made, the thought to me was obvious: return them. However, other members mentioned how they sold two solid boxes of 2014s for $80 or $90. Who would pay that and why I thought - for a readily available coin. That being said, after hearing the situation here, I can understand to some degree why abundant objects can be scarce. I do believe, however, that our membership here will be swimming in 2014s in due time. Now the wait is on to see who will find the first 2015 and 2015D. March/April I suppose. heh, that's funny. I was not aware that was happening. I picked up two solid boxes of 2014s recently. I was cursing all the way home cause I struck out.
