Here is a Batzen of the German Bishopric of Augsburg dated 1522 AD. Attribution is Saurma ~1452 and Schulten 39.

Here is a 1522 L-B Hungarian Denar I recently purchased. The 2's are reversed in the date.

This coin had appeared previously in the First Edition and in the Second Edition - to the best of my knowledge, my only coin to appear in the former. Now it successfully appears in the Third Edition - which the same photo Archbishopric of Salzburg, Matthaus Lang von Wellenburg (1519-40), 1521 pfennig. Numista 73133 (type), same type as Saurma 901 (different date). Sadly I didn't think to make a reverse photo back when I made this one three and a half years ago (it's uniface, so there won't be much on it anyway), and I didn't think to make another photo of the coin in all those years either. My next dated coin is 1517 (a different Salzburg type) - I bought it over three years ago and somehow still didn't make a photo I'll try to take a quick photo if I find it in the next few days, however! After that I have nothing until the early 7th century (it might not actually be even theoretically possible to get that far).

That is a great uniface pfennig! Quote: After that I have nothing until the early 7th century (it might not actually be even theoretically possible to get that far). Considering that the first two threads stalled with 1491 AD, I'm not feeling too confident that we will get past that year, much less complete the 15th Century, with this third thread. The 7th Century seems unattainable to me.
