That guy is pathetic. What a joke of a slab, too!

IMHO, not really pathetic, which warrants pity ... Pathological criminal is more like it, which warrants punishment. No sympathy here for this fraudulent deception. Reported, yet again.
Good to know our OP got a refund!

It is pathetic to say the least at what this seller is doing. I already had to go through the hassle of buying and mailing it back and waiting on ebay to refund. After he apologized I did not leave negative feedback as I understand mistakes happen. Now I am wishing I had left negative on that coin. You are right, I think a certain highly respectable grading company would like to know about this sellers half-butt attempt at making one of their slabs! Again, thank each and everyone of you all who assisted me. I learned the hard way on this coin, though at least I learned :)

ebay seems to have very little motivation to act on these things, which seems odd since the revision to the Hobby Protection Act which the President signed into law last December puts places like ebay squarely in violation of the new law if they're informed the counterfeit exists on their site.

NGC needs to find out who this guy is, and come after him with everything in their arsenal. Apologize, this guy knew exactly what he was doing. Dirt bag. This is ridiculous.

I thought my Accugrade slab was crude but this is folk art. Grandma Moses stuff.

I think rum_n_cola was very fortunate the other two coins turned out to be genuine, and more importsntly that with respect to the bogus third one, his brush with the seedy underside of the hobby was without cost. That lesson for most people turns out to be an expensive one.

rum_n_cola is the OP here, the original purchaser of the coin.
