Unlike Machine Doubling, this looks like stepped doubling, on all letters around edge and heavy heavy on date.

It's "shelved." No offset, no notching. Gotta be MD.

It is MD. The devices are reduced in size.

yeah good point, I keep forgetting about the notching... just very odd MD, not smeared and steeper offsets, just one heck of a MD example I guess :) thanks guys.
