The bays (Which are part of the fields) pf the reverse makes a vertical mark on the fields of the obverse die during a clash. So when you look at the above image you see what looks like bars behind Lincoln. Actually this coin looks like a double clash marks on obverse and parts of one the reverse where the shoulder is looks like three clash marks. The outline of the head looks single. The right side of the reverse looks like it was previously clashed and polished as well. Looks like the obverse die rotated during the clash. Nice find in BU.
Yes. It is similar to TDC-1c-1971D-01, but TDC-1c-1971D-01 does not show the reverse clash this coin has. So, I guess that makes my coin different than TDC-1c-1971D-01? I don't pay much attention to die clashes, so I don't know what to make of it.
