Thanks Silverworld! You do learn something everyday.

As for stacking. I'm holding for after my vacation in May to buy. It seems prices get slammed in May. Hopefully it will be in single digits by then.

The dollar will pull back, but will likely be viable well beyond any of our lifetimes.

What are you basing this statement on? History tells us that every unbacked fiat currency fails. Only been on this system for several decades. Plan to live for at least six more decades. Do you honestly believe the US dollar will be viable then?

"Will the dollar still be viable when I die?"

"Most likely"

There you have it! Either I''m most likely gonna die young or the dollar is going to hang around for awhile.

While I like the hobby of collecting silver, it takes a lot of water and energy to mine both gold and silver. Whenever I drive through an old mining town, it reminds me of the past, not the future. This is why I enjoy collecting.

US currency is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States. It's far from perfect, but feel I live in a great country with a bright future.

I enjoy collecting dimes. I've been picking up rolls of BU Roosevelt dimes where I can. I think they will be a sleeper series due to their affordable prices now. I also like AU/BU halves. I should really get into Morgan's but I primarily buy on ebay and it looks like a lot of those have been cleaned so I don't want to get ripped off.

@sa330206,AU/BU is the way to go when buying US coinage.

I buy PF70 Roosevelt's,I will be picking up 10-30 2015 Slabs. Safe investment with 20%-35% return the next following year. 50% 3-5 years.

Morgan's BU is tricky,9 out of 10 times has a price tag but worth it if you have a safe and true honest dealer, easier said then done in the year 2015. I wish you luck and honest dealings.

@Gothic,yes. Plumply$ makes it easy. Plumply$ sits on a wall of greed and misleading bricks. Has me looking down at the shinny stuff right at my feet,go figure.

@realmoney,yes. The Credit Mirror is another trickster/bankster way of control. Failing most that take part in a glance. Nobody or Gov can just look away with out payment. Credit is never the answer to what we do not have.

@MontanaCMR,yes.Collecting is fun, interesting,a mental rush, healthy. I am glad you have a good time with it.
