SteveCaruso Pillar of the Community United States 1796 Posts	Posted 02/03/2015 2:30 pm Aye a " Dryer Coin". This is caused by many impacts against the edge and devices. Like if you were to put a coin in a rock tumbler with steel shot. There are even more drastic examples from coins caught in commercial clothes dryers for months at a time.
