Picked this up from the post office earlier today, looking good. Its a "Price 3761" Tetradrachm minted in Babyon under Selucius Nikator around 311-300 BC
This comes from a time when Cash was king. A wonderful detailed rich example. Kudos to you. Careful with a coin like this it easy to become addicted to ancient coins. Take it from me, a long time addict.
Alexander tetradrachms have heft, relief, age, and a design anyone can understand. Show one to a non-collecting friend and they will have heard of "Alexander the Great" and will appreciate the coin. Nice pickup!
