Superb Lincolns!!
LeeG - the 17 is ONLY a 65? That is at least a + or 6. SUPERB strike - count the whiskers in the beard!

I guess the graders were having a bad day when my 1917 went through the Briar patch.

" I guess the graders were having a bad day when my 1917 went through the Briar patch." It is a POP 7/0 coin though. I think that means something.

I only collect US coins that I find in my change here in Canada. Yesterday I came across a coffee tin hoard of US coins I'd forgotten about after it was packed away when we were moving in 2008. While going through them today it was all the usual suspects of post 1964 coins until about half way through when I found this little beauty. 4th oldest LWC in my collection but best condition of those 4 by far.

Very nice '28! Here is my 1931 S, also my avatar. Got this for my birthday last year, and its my most rare coin (other than my errors).

I don't know that this is or isn't the nicest coin in my collection, but it was one that I am strangely proud of. Probably a fake.... you guys have me paranoid now.

That 09VDB grade surprises me at 65, toning is funky and the obverse has a fingerprint.

Quote: ...toning is funky... Yeah I agree not only that but, it looks like the obverse has been lightly wiped at one time. Can't see a 65 on this one.
