Woah! I dont get it, if some one put a bid in at five grand they have to pay, dont they? Or is this just a ploy to assure no one gets ripped off by this donkeys hind quarters?

Unless, of course, that is him making a sad attempt at upping his bids.

Same two zero-Feedback bidders making all those silly bids. Not that ebay cares about shills, either.

Bobby, you seem to have a real inside track with them and they do listen to you. Unfortunately they don't listen to others who don't have your pull.

I don't know why you have such influence with them, but don't ever lose it.

Way to go Bobby!

I saw this thread the other day and had to contact the seller, like everyone says he knows what he is doing. I do feel a little sheepish because my message got a little personal, but I was quite upset when I saw his listings.

Dear phdcoins2014,

Is this coin raw because it was purchased in a PCGS UNC details, genuine holder? # 31461765 purchased from HA on Feb 15, 2015 ? You probably don't even have the coin yet so your BS story about it in your collection is nothing but a SCAM!! Along with all the other coins you've done this with. You are a disservice to the whole collecting community, and humanity for that matter.

and his reponse.....

I suggest you stop the harassing communication or you will be banned from ebay. You re an idiot. I am entitled to my opinion of any coin whatsoever. PCGS does not determine what a coin is. That is up to the individual buyer. And you have no idea what the history of this coin is from 1859. Just so you know, it was once part of my collection. You don t know the previous grade history of the coin. You don t know whether I was the consignor in that auction or not. Consignors can buy back their own coins. You also don t know if I received it. You must have never heard of expedited shipping. You can receive a Heritage purchase the next day! In addition, you can also pick it up from them! You need to lose your policing attitude and learn the facts and quit being an idiot. I would consider uneducated people like yourself that have no life to be the disgrace.

I am glad to see him gone...but afraid he'll just pop up somewhere else.

Scandalous....I personally assume there is something wrong when NO RETURNS is in play. Sad some people take advantage.

Yes, that connection exists. The reason it's necessary, however, disgusts me and if that connection becomes in any way formal the new provisions of HCA could put Coin Community in the legally-defined chain of blame. I feel like we're facilitating ebay's abdication of responsibility by doing their work for them.
