umm , not that there is anything (for me)to add,of much merit.due to the previous posts ... i'll add .. amac44 . Please consider we are;or/that i'am not against you having found many errors. just please accept: that I've spent years searching coins as well as others here. so far, likely totaling over 1,000,000 (One Million) over my life time. others have searched; I mean inspected with a 'learn-ed eye ', into the millions. my point being that errors , only occurring perhaps once in a million or even (more likely)less(at least in 'modern coinage') are very elusive; at least for one individual to find many noteworthy (valuable) examples.this being said i'll consider that 'one' may have exceptional fortune and find many is at least possible even how unlikely (with-out) knowing , for example the difference between mechanical doubling(valueless)and(valuable doubled die(s)).my intent is aid you , in your ' knowledge ' of just what you have discovered. as through my experience , the others here also intend to do as well.. ok .. being a rescent (3 year)collector of die variety and error collector myself after a lapse in serious coin collecting, I do think and do perhaps appreciate your enthusiasm. for myself I encourage it (for you) and anyone , though you may take it opposite really never got discouraged about collecting coins ,i just allowed myself to explore 'other things' , you know .. ? collect what you 'Like ', i'd say ; just :: please don't expect others to , agree with your preference's ; if what you collect is of little interest to others..after all this is money we are talking about , and the bottom line is ; is my coin worth (valuable above)commonly found coins.?.learn what is above (not) common and search , save , those which are..man how many times (in my beginning) I found MDD's , die chips , cracks , ect. thinking Oh , I'm so much closer to retirement, only to 'Learn ' what I had discovered what 'common' and held no real (value) interest of the learned collector's fecal matter is 'peddeld' on the web all the time. does not make any of it valuable , which is .. what it is .. learning: what is valuable VS. which is not. discussed here on this forum a project; inform / in-form us ,those who are at least interested in learning the difference between ' valuable ' and realistically 'invaluable'.a 'book' currently under development by; a valuable member here ; coppercoins :
Author ' Charles Daughtry '.though there many other 'valuable' resources of such information. including "Looking through lincoln cents " by CD ('chuck' daughtry) and many others , including long time author ' Alan Herbert' and his "Official* Price guide to MINT ERRORS ".which to me is as close to a must read as i'am aware of ; for learning the minting process(es) and subsequent coins that are released.Chapter one heading being "Why minting Varieties and not "Errors"? all these words being hand typed by a 'hunt _N_ pek typer . cause wei care. and sincerely wish (intend)to aid (help)you. "To err is human ; to forgive is Divine" Plese forgive me if this has come across as harsh ,to amac44 and all others concerned.

I hope I don't gey busted for saying this but I think the last few comments were rather harsh. I know some folks here are frustrated but I don't think what was written was helpful.

Amac44 may I make a few suggestions? First keep these coins you have posted and the pics and use them for future reference for what is NOT a doubled die. Also there is a very good book out there Official Price Guide to Mint Errors 7th Edition by Alan Herbert. It describes the minting process from step one. The listed errors with pics describe how the errors could have occured while they were in the process of being made. Get the book and study it. I think it will help indentify many of the coins you have found. Also try to get your hands on a true double die. Study it and compare it to your findings.

I've been on this forum a while and I'm still working on learning about doubled varieties and doubled dies and other stuff. Don't get frustrated and give up. I have gotten frustrated but I am still working on it. It's not easy.

Also I am nowhere near an expert but some of the pics posted are obvious Machine Doubling even to me. Especially the quarter with the 7 and LIBERTY.

For the experts, the pic posted with GOD, is that what is can referred to as an overflow?
