When I got the bundle I did a split up and have been going through each pile in turn, unusual ones keep turning up as I go through them.
Constantine the great -
Obverse - IMP CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG
Helmeted and cuirassed bust right
Reverse - VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP
Two victories holding shield inscribed VOT/PR over alter, ST in exergue RIC VII Ticinium 87, 318-319ad. ( R4 )

The only bit I am struggling with is the symbol on the alter, there is definitely one there but its just too hard to make out.
Not the type you see everyday so I thought it was worth sharing.

The words are VOT PR or Votis Populi Romani. Which translates into vows to the Roman people.
Very nice coin, I would love to have one of these in my collection.

I think there are a lot in your collection Avg Max that I can only dream of right now
It is nice to have a few already that are worth sharing though, lots of the more common types which makes finding one like this a bit special ( for a noob like me )
I will save my best Denarius for last.
Echizento, thanks for the link.
I didn't realise how many varieties there were, many thanks

Another 1 has turned up in the bundle AM, this time its -
Silvered AE3 RIC VII Arles 191, Arelatum. ( R4/R5 )
Obverse-IMP CONSTANTINUS AVG
helmeted and cuirassed bust right
Reverse-VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP
Two victories holding shield inscribed VOT/PR over alter,
TARL in Exergue, Arelatum mint.

I am having a little trouble with the exact RIC number on this 1 though, the only match I have found has a plain alter and there is a pattern on mine which I cant make out again
Even the link that Echizento posted doesn't have a match with the r/facing bust & TARL in exergue and a pattern on the alter, any further suggestions ?
TIA

I know I have posted this link before but if you download this type there is a tab that shows pictures of all the altar types for each mint.

Here is a similar one from the London mint that's in my collection. VO must have been filled by something on the die, barely can make out an outline.
