I got this lot of V nickels. All look good but this one. What is the damage on this? I am guessing someone tried to get that brown stuff off and damaged it?

Looks like either a lamination or a strike through, not PSD.

The brown stuff is quite possibly a slag inclusion in the alloy which would also explain why there is a small delamination in the same spot.

So that is actually an error and not PMD. Good thing I posted it.
