according to the Dansco site, "This album contains 9 vinyl pages. On each page there are 12 pockets for 2x2 coin holders."

Correct now Quote: There are 9 pages total inside this 7001 paper money album. 8 pages hold 3 notes per page (24 small size notes) and one page for larger size notes.

Yes but I was wondering if it would hold say 30 pages for instance. Thanks

It appears to be designed to hold 9 pages. Probably could hold more, but you run the risk of it being thicker than the binding. Looking roughly like \_/ instead of |_|
(sorry for the ascii graphics)

I have several 7001's and most of mine have 9 to 16 pages in them. The 16 page ones are "full" for all intent and purpose.
Hope that helps.

Couple of years ago I put two of these albums together, one of them I have 22 pages in. They come with 8, three pocket pages and one page that fits a sheet of paper .. (maybe I had to cut the paper to size) When I was putting them together it was hard to find the extra pages. I think I was buying extra albums and putting all the pages in one album. Here is a thread I posted back then. https://goccf.com/t/151904I have upgraded some of the notes since then. Long term I hope to replace and many of the notes I can with star notes.

The problem with stuffing the album full of pages is it gets tough to fully open it and admire your collection. Yeah, you can stuff it full with whatever will fit, but opening it and enjoying it becomes a battle.

I would not tell someone how many pages to put into a album. I was just saying how many I have. I do not think I have it over filled, and have no problem viewing my notes when I am looking at them in this album. If someone wanted more, or less than the number of pages in their album .. I would have no problem with that. The op was asking if 30 pages would fit. So I posted what I had in mine. After looking at mine, I feel I myself, I would not go to 30 pages. But I have no problem with how my album is now. In the pictures above I was just flipping pages and taking pictures. I have no problem opening the pages more fully and viewing the notes.

Again, those are some really sweet albums, GR58. I love that look! I'm going to be picking up a 7001 myself here soon.
And FYI, it looks like you can buy additional pages from Wizard.

Thanks for the pictures and all the help! The main reason I ask is I would like to start a collection of 2's modern notes, by year and district. Right now I'm just saving the ones I don't have when I pick some up at the bank.
No special serial numbers just clean crisp notes. I know that I won't get the older ones at the bank and I'll be super lucky to get a star note. But I believe if I recall there was 87 notes total. So that's why I was asking if 30 pages, so I'll probably just spilt it into two albums when I get that far!

So for those that already have this album... do you put the notes directly in the vinyl pages or do you put the note in a sleeve, then in the page?

I put the notes right in the pages.
Most of them have been there over two years, and I see no problems.
