twohawks Pillar of the Community United States 1551 Posts	Posted 03/03/2015 09:17 am I ran into this yesterday and found it interesting. This 1993 Dime as a radical misaligned obverse die strike. But they where not done messing up then they added the tilted partial collar to make it even more interesting. I'm guessing they were under time pressure from having had to stop to polish the reverse, and threw everything back together in too much of a hurry. Your coin might have been the first strike from the result, and I doubt it was supposed to leave the Mint. Or that it went unnoticed. Report this Post to the Staff
