Greetings from the Tampa Bay Area in sunny Florida! I joined this forum today in the hopes of learning, sharing, and collaborating with others. I'm mainly interested in US coins and I've been passively collecting for years. Very recently I've taken up searching for error Lincoln cents and I hope to share some pictures soon. Hello all! My name is Cole, I am from Green Bay WI. I am a coin newborn (6 months in). My dad has been into collecting coins, primarily metal detecting most of his life. Finally he got me hooked on this amazing hobby. I hope to learn a lot from you all here! I was so overwhelmed and eager to start hunting I buried myself with multiple rolls from the bank of each series. I quickly realized there must be a better way to start and with a little research and a few days I learned to get organized and focus one one series at a time. I started with the Kennedy half Series. I almost have the full series up until 2000 and it oddly seems they get pretty scarce in the 2000+ dates. Nice to meet you all! |

 Hello! I am from a small town in NW Oregon, USA. I am really not much of a collector but the collection I have keeps growing! I buy storage units and occasionally come upon coins that I don't know what I should do with them. I am hoping that this community will be of some help. |

Hey guys and gals. I'm going by the name Numie (a pun on newbie and numismatics). I live in the Chicago area. I'm interested in collecting Lincoln pennies at the moment.

Hi - msmorgan - from upper midwest/Great Lakes region in USofA inherited some older coins years ago, so collecting Morgans, older silver Eagles, scrounged up a couple coins from Canada Like the old fashioned change we used as kids that is fast disappearing! I have a few of those weird buffalo rounds with the mint mark that has an R inside a star - the edges are reeded Really want to find out where they came from ...... so happy to find you all! |

Hi from Carbondale, Illinois, USA! I have a few coins that I will likely be asking questions about in time. Right now I would like to read some posts and figure out how all of this works so I do the right thing. I do want to say that I am very happy to have found you and I hope we can learn something from one another.
