My name is Russ and just starting out collecting and searching through coins. This might be become my secondary hobby, I'm running out of room building model airplanes. I have over 300 built and a stash of 200 plus to go. I'm supposed to be retired, but in real life I'm usually just tired. I retired from the army with 27 years and currently a farmer. I work on airplanes on the side. Coin searching will keep me indoors over the winter.... LOL

@sharks Hello! Nice to see a fellow Canadian here. I only have 4 old coins but I hope to expand my collection. Right now I have a 1928 Canada nickel, a 1928 Canada dime, a 1929 Canada dime and a 1958 Canada silver dollar.

Hello everyone and thank you for having me. Extremely new to this. I've always checked my change for older dates, wheat pennies, bicentennial quarters but have just recently started looking closer. Some YouTube videos and shorts caught my eye awhile back and now I think I'm kinda hooked. I'm from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania United States of America. I came across this community from a Google search while trying to find out if a 2023 P Dime I have has a mint error on it or I'd it's an after mint error. I'll try to find the correct forum and post pictures in there with a proper description. Once again thank you all for having me and the vast amounts of know I'm sure I'll gain from this community.

Hello! I'm was born in Alabama, raised in Georgia and now live in South Carolina. I'm a Southerner. I just turned 40, College educated and I'm brand new to this lifestyle. I just recently decided to start checking every coin I can for dates and imperfections and I've learned so much already! Very excited to be here!!
