Where Are You From? A Place To Introduce Yourself

Hi Y'all!

Long time viewer/reader and I finally registered so I can get more educated about Numismatics! I've been collecting for many years but have just gotten into it seriously the past few years. I collect mostly Silver Dollars but pick up the occasional rare coin.

I've lived in the north, east, west and now south USA.

I hope to get some answers about specific coins which I'll start in separate links.

Hello all, I'm brand new to the community. Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, my name is John, I'm 36, I grew up in metro Detroit and now I live with my wife in her hometown in northern Michigan right along Lake Michigan. I I'm a novice when it comes to coin knowledge however I've been interested in coins and coin collecting from a young age. I'm here to meet other coin collectors and gain knowledge from the community. Thanks for adding!

good morning one and all. I am new here to this page so again hello. you all can call me Reverand. I like long walks on the beach and hot ramens... what... my bad. like to start off with a little laugh. Anyways I come from a so called third world country here in the states called the fort hall indian rezervation. What got me into coin collecting is ever since I was a ankle biter I always had a thing for money, either eating it or taking it and putting it somewhere and lose track of it. (ADDHD) Fast forward a few decades and things still havent changed. I'm still looking for a roll of kennedys and stack of $2... Money just has a way of finding me and growing up poor and not really having it, I look at it with a shrug and pass it on to another . after all we can't take it with us when we leave.

Hello all. Just joined the Coin Community here. I have been collecting on and off for > 30 years. Like most, I got started when my grandfather showed me his collection and got me my first Whitman books. Now my son and I have gotten back into it pretty strongly. Right now we mostly are into old US coins but aren't against anything else that we find neat. We are located in Christiansburg, VA.
