I think JM Bullion is missing out on potential buyers by instituting a $100 minimum order. I'm just a casual buyer/collector. My budget usually don't allow that much so I tend to only get 1 or 2 coins at a time. It does look like that have decent prices. I am unable to even check out if there isn't at least $100 in my cart. It is too bad really.

I fully agree with you. This is why I buy most of my silver from MCM, which overall offers very competitive deals, even when compared to what JM Bullion offers. MCM also ships internationally and accepts payment from non-US PayPal accounts, which is a huge plus in my experience.

I find MCM to be a bit more expensive than JM Bullion. When I've ordered form JMB, the items arrive within 3 days. MCM takes a week or more. Silver.com, which is a JMB subsidiary, isn't bad either. But free shipping with silver.com is at $3000. I have no clue why JMB and silver.com are so far apart with their shipping costs, especially being owned by the same people.

I do like Provident Metals and find they're competitive with JMB. When I buy from either, my order is usually over $100, so that isn't an issue with me. With Provident, I can e-check my order to save the 4% hike over debit cards. Every little bit of savings help out tremendously.

BGASC.com is competive too. But living in California where BGASC is located, I'd have to pay sales tax (if under $1500) on my order, 9.25%.

TheForce, on page one you mentioned that you don't want generic bullion because you want it to be backed by a government. If you buy from and sell to refineries you should never have a problem with the authenticity of your bullion if that's what you're worried about. I suppose when you sell to or trade with strangers that it becomes an issue? Bullion is bullion, it doesn't matter what design is on the metal.
