This is a 2002 lincoln and I find the AM very close. Your opinion is appreciated.

My RedBook states that "the letters nearly touch on other uncirculated cents after 1993 (in reference to 1992D Close AM)
yours looks like a normal 2002 to me-here's one on heritage:

Thanks Don, I was just reading about it. Business strike is intended to have Close AM. If a proof lincoln has a Close AM then its an error. Thats how I understood it.
I knew it was too good to be true.

That is correct. Business strikes are close, proofs are apart.
