2 Coin Pendants. Roman? Not Sure...

lukeshep17 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 03/17/2015 3:05 pm I have had both of these for 10-20 years and never wear them, so was curious what they might be worth if anything. First one has Israel stamped on the gold and is set in 14k I believe I thought the coin was roman, but not positive. Second one has no stamps on the gold(if it is even really gold). The people that make these jewellery items are as likely to use real coins as replicas. I'm not entirely convinced that either of these pieces are genuine. Obv: IMP LICINIVS AVG Rev: I need a better image (sorry!) but probably is a "IOVI CONS" or similar (Juppiter the protector). The second is more interesting. Is a half reales (1/2 real) piece minted in Mexico under Philip II of Spain (assyer "O") It was minted between 1556 and 1598. Report this Post to the Staff
