No more risks for me I want to see both sides and good images as well.

When it comes to older coins (pre- 1955) or valuable coins (>$100), I agree with you 100%.

But, when it comes to modern coins worth less than $100, I just scan the obverse with the ICCS certificate. I sometimes will have a dozen coins, all from the same mint bag, all graded ICCS MS-65 for sale - I scan one, and say that there are 12 available. I don't know a seller out there who would scan all 12 coins individually, both sides.

I mostly cherry pick my modern coins from mint bags and rolls, and eye appeal means a lot to me. I don't certify coins with stains, carbon spots and fingerprints. My philosophy is simple, "Think like a collector". I always ask myself, before sending coins to to ICCS and PCGS, "Would a collector buy this coin?"

In 10 years, I have never had a customer complain about a coin bought from me and never had a coin returned. In fact, I have a ton of repeat buyers, because they trust my eyes and judgement, some even pay more for that.

I won't buy from these sellers. I despise laziness.

Again - laziness has nothing to do with my decision. If you collected Canadian coins, especially nickel dollars - then I would say you are missing out!!

My point was never to attack that specific seller my LARGER point was the fact dealers do this often without much care at all about the buyers like myself (I buy a lot of coins so it sucks).

I had to use an example just happened to be your local dealer by pure coincidence no other reason.

I have purchased from you in the past you are correct no complaints here either BUT for one you are probably one of the dealers that has the nicest 1 cent coins for sale (you are very picky buy them yourself for re sale).

So when I buy from you I know the quality I am getting and do not require a front and back picture.

But this can't be said of most dealers.

It's the ones who have both sides in the same picture that you really have to worry about.

Maybe they have edited their listing but I see two sides of the coin.

For me personally, I only need to see the obverse.
