I too can not bring myself to get excited about the State Quarters program. I like that it may spur some interest in numismatics but beyond that the program means very little to me.

Am waiting for the local banks to also get them in I always get rolls.

Around here in central PA I know when the mint releases new quarters it will be about four to six weeks till our banks get these in. Do not know why either as we are only a two hour drive from the Philadelphia National Bank.

According to the Mint, they claim 11/05 http://www.usmint.gov/mint_programs...ion=schedule

but of course, I have not found any either.

If it's a smaller bank.....they run out....or it takes them a few weeks of extra time before they get them.......... my bank is down the street from others who get stuff way before mine does......not sure why. Eventually ALL banks will get their new coins......just takes longer for some than others in my experience

No, but I found a few in my change, they seem a little lighter than the other quarters, a friend has noticed that also. Has the P mint changed metals content lately?
