As noted already, it was sealed in the Mint Set packages for several years as a way to identify sets struck in Philadelphia. It has a counterpart with a "D" on it that was included in sets struck in Denver. They were included in sets from 1984 through 1999; roughly the period after the Susan B Anthony dollar was dropped and before the Sacagawea dollar was introduced. They have essentially no value. The red stripe cello are Denver coins. The medal like yours is in the bottom left of the cello. Report this Post to the Staff
