That is, acetone. It had a lot of dirt on it that was removed.
What grade would you give it now?

I'm lucky my father is a chemist. It was bought secondhand from a lab and I think it costed $700

I think the reverse is rough enough to hold it to FR-2.

That scale is a Mettler - Toledo AG104 and about $1K though they come up on ebay for $700-800 often. Super nice scale! New I believe they were around $4500.00 but have been replaced with newer models now.

as to the coin I'd go AG3, so close to a FR2 on a grade.
